My life in NAFA

I had 5 modules to attend for the first semester. As follow, Introduction of Visual Arts, Creative Thinking, 2D Fundamentals, 3D Fundamentals & Drawing Fundamentals. When I was told that I had to attend this modules, I don't really know what am I going to learn. After attending first lesson of all modules, I slowly get what's going on. Something different here in NAFA, first lesson there was work given to do already. 

After studying almost 2 months plus in NAFA, I really happy that I made the right choice to continue my studies in NAFA. I learnt a lot of new things that I didn't learn in education life before I joined NAFA.
I really hope I will do well in NAFA and get a good results after my 3 years. 

There's Always A First Time For Everything

After weeks of doing school artwork for review next week, I decided to try something that I never try before, facial and mask! Wanting to try out Facial and Mask for a very long time. Finally, my sister did it for me; she did learn some basic on facial. It was really weird when it first started, keep on laughing while my sister was doing it for me. It was very comfortable and relaxing. After awhile I eventually fall asleep until the process of the facial and mask was over. I really feel so refresh and good after doing it. 

Grab Hold Of It

Sharing with you a photo I took that I find it very interesting. The word “Opportunity” is a very big word. Wherever you go when you have the opportunity, don't let it go. You will never know when you will have the chance again. Opportunity always comes without letting you know. Be alert and grab that opportunity. When comes to studies, working, businesses there will be always opportunity in front of you, however you must know how to grab hold of it and never let it go. This word applies to everyone; children, adults regardless of how old are you. 

My Collections

Welcome to my Chip & Dale Paradise! This character is my favorite in whole disney collection. From young, when I watched any mickey mouse show I will always try to spot them. It was because they are to small in the television. I really love the way they speaks, I always try to follow their way of speaking, it's just so cute. Until today, I'm still collecting it. Every time I go to any new places, for example I went to Hong Kong Disney Land last year, I bought three items from there. Really hope to go to more places so I can have more collection from different places. 

Something To Be Proud Of

Back in 2011, when I was studying in ITE, Digital Audio Video Production as a year 1 student. I was so happy that I got nominated to be part of the NATIONAL DAY PARADE. It was a position that was related to my course and I was part of the media team as a camera man (video). My duties was to shoot it live during national day. However, the most happiest part was I'm able to take photo with

Lieutenant Colonel Fahmi Aliman Parade Commander & Master Warrant Officer Jennifer Tan Parade RSM. It was so cool. The feeling was just so awesome!

More Than A Friendship

Friendship is when it comes to two or more people in a pairs and clique. Why is it call friendship? In this friendship, everyone should have trust in each other, giving and taking from each other, forgive and forget when comes to trouble, helping each other when any partner needed help. Why did I share with you this friendship band? It was given by my close friend, he went to Hong Kong and came back with this friendship band. When he pass this friendship band to me, he said, "I bought this friendship band for you because there's a meaning in it. If you see the colors that's repeating, it means our friendship together will never ends. In  fact, treated you more than a friend. As my brother. " I was shocked that he will say this to me. Already 10 years and still counting.

Charity Work

This ballon sculpture was taken a year ago. Back then I was still ITE, and I nominated to be in charge of a charity work. I was sent for a course to learn how to come about with balloon sculpture for the charity work. I wasn't that good in balloon sculpture as I was too rough with it. Most of the time when I turn and twist, it will "Pop" and the balloon flow away. After serval times of training I managed to handle it probably. I had to teach my fellow volunteers to make balloon sculpture. The photo above was one of the final balloon sculpture we did for the charity. 

Family Bonding

Looking for a place to chill and relax to have high tea. Let me share with you the place I had high tea a week ago. I had something nice for high tea during my weekend. New York Cheese Cake & Macaroons! I ate it at Canele Patisserie Chocolarie, Plaza Singapura. It was really awesome. Both products were quite sweet, I had to drink two cups of water to balance the taste. However the place was air conditioner, so I sat there for almost 2 hours plus to chill, relax and had a good chat with my loved one. It was worth having high tea there. 

Lovely Sport Shoes

After so long, I finally get a pair of sport shoes. It was not the normal brands that I used to buy. When I walked pass the store named "Skechers" and this pair of shoe caught my eyes. It was because the color of the shoes is in blue, my favorite color. I went into the store and tried my size. After I put on the shoes, the feeling is totally different from other brand. It was really very comfortable and I just don’t want to take it off. It cost me about $130+. After getting this sport shoes, I started to exercise regularly.  

Fruit Day

Weeks back Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts was having their fruit day! When I walked pass the canteen, the committee from student care was giving out apple! It was free! So I went over and took one. One of the told me, "Take take! Take as many as possible!' I gave my support and took two. Eating fruits is really healthy! I was thinking it was fruit day, why is there only apple? I wanted like banana or some other choices. They should called it "Apple Day!" However, there's always a saying, "A APPLE A DAY, KEEP THE DOCTOR AWAY!"

A Lesson Learn

A dog that's outside the house. His name was "Hua Hua". Everyday whenever I walked pass or whoever pass by, he will start barking. One day I came home from school and I was wondering why he didn't bark. Then I realized that he was been lock outside the house. I was wondering what was the dog doing outside. Guarding the house? Actually I was wrong! The owner told me that the dog couldn't stop barking. The owner decided to teach him a lesson and lock him outside, a bit bad uh. Hua Hua was so scared and he didn't dare to jump off the stool. From that day onwards, he didn't bark as much as before. Dogs are really smart uh, smarter than us the humans! 

Under The Sun

Something I used to do when I'm free during the weekends. Sun Tan! I'm a member of Safra and making use of the membership. Most of the time I will go during Saturday morning. It's really awesome to arrive at the swimming pool as early as 9+. It will be quite quiet and relaxing. With the music played by the club. As you can see not many people will be as early as me. However, when time hits around 10 or 10+ people start to walk in and there will be children having their weekly swimming lesson. One thing I don't understand is, I always sun tan and my skin color doesn't change, it will be still the same after hours of tan-ing. 

TWG

Having high tea is one of the most relaxing stuff each of everyone of us can do. Going to any cafe to have tea or coffee and cake, it just feel so awesome! As you can see the photo at the top, 1837 TWG. I had it at Marina Bay Sands, it kinda expensive. However, it was worth drinking. The tea they serve it's really different from normal tea. The smell was really strong. Enjoying it bit by bit with the nice environment. They had many many kinds of different tea from hot to cold. Their teas were all from different country. Just really awesome! Worth it! 

Sweet & Sour

Another awesome dish I tried. I was thinking about something sweet and sour. Couldn't think about anything to cook. Every time when I start cooking something I will put the abalone sauce. Thinking to try something new. So I went hunting for new sauce for the pasta. Surprisingly I found a mini bottle of sweet and sour sauce. I was so daring to try it. Just following the steps I did for the pass dishes, only the last step from abalone sauce change to the sweet and sour sauce. It was kinda too sweet at first when I tried it. Continue cooking and put a little more salt. It was my first attempt and it was quite good. Giving myself a Pass! 

Strawberry Farm

This was taken 2 months back when I was in Bali, Indonesia. It was a holiday trip to relax my mind. I always love to travel round to visit interesting places. I was craving for something sweet at the that moment. I had a driver with me to actually bring me around in Bali, Indonesia. So I told him I want to have something sweet. So he drove all the way to the strawberry plantation. I was hours away from my villa. When I arrived at the plantation, I went 'WOW'. It was really a nice place. The whole field is just full of strawberry plantation. So I was told I could pick the strawberry myself. After about an hour tour around and picking. I picked almost 1kg of strawberry. So I bought it and brought it back to Singapore to enjoy it. 

Luncheon Meat Pasta

Once again, I was feeling hungry while doing artwork. Thinking of what should I cook for myself to have energy to continue with work so I can finish my work on time. Found simple ingredients in the kitchen. So decided to cook luncheon meat pasta. So I used simple ingredients, garlic, salt, sesame oil, soya sauce, egg, luncheon meat and pasta. Of course not forgetting the most important ingredients, abalone sauce. Just tasted so awesome!!! I really fall in love with this sauce, whenever I had to cook something simple, I will just add abalone sauce. Everyone should give it a try!

I went to Sea Aquarium, Sentosa earlier this year in May. Before I even enter the aquarium, I felt that it was a worth place to come, queuing to buy the ticket & the best part was I still have to queue to enter the Aquaerium. Sunset

This was taken about 2 months back when I went to Bali, Indonesia. My motive for the trip was actually this! Dinner by the beach with the beautiful sun set. While I was in the car and my driver was driving through the long road to the place that the dinner was held, I kept looking out of the window because the scenery was just so awesome and beautiful. So dinner was held by the beach @ Sri Gangga Cafe, Kedonganan Beach, Kuta. I even took a time lapse of the sun set, it was really nice. I had seafood, it was kinda expensive but it was worth eating. I spent hours at the beach before heading back to villa, because my villa was about an hour away from the beach.

That’s the best place to try.

For me, I will sure buy Mao Shan Wang durian snow skin mooncake. Every year I will try from different hotels. So for this year, I bought from Home Favorite! One of the top graded mooncake.

Those who love snow skin durian mooncake, it’s a must to try. 

Lonely In The Bus

All alone in the bus with the driver! 

This picture was taken when I was on the way from orchard, opposite Far East Plaza. I was actaully relaxing and chilling at Starbucks till around 11.15pm. I decided to take bus back home, because I was to lazy to walk over to MRT station. When I first board the bus, there were handful passenger on bus. After about 1/4 of the journey, I realized I was all alone with the driver. It was so cold & my hands and legs just feel so numb. The feeling when you are alone is just feel so emotional. The journey back home is just feel so long. So near yet so far. 

Hard Work Paid Off

Guessing what is this picture about? What is the purpose of this picture? Let me share with you! 

As you can see it's a camera tripod with a camera mile on to it and covered with a wet towel. I was taking time lapse of the scenery for my project. I spent hours under the hot sun just to get the perfect shot of the time lapse. It wasn’t easy, because I had to watch over a number of things, the depth of field, angle of the frame, the life of the battery, making sure no one walk pass the camera. It was kind of tiring, but it was really worth being under the hot sun for a perfect shot.
